The  formation  of  government  was  and  still  is  for  the  benefit  of  society,  to  ensure  that  people  attain  well-being,  and  can  live  in  a  stable  and  protected  manner.

With  times  changing  and  the  world  developing,  the  government  can’t  keep  up  on  its  own,  and  that  is  how  social  intervention  gets  in.  We’ve  seen  the  growth  in  the  number  of  NGOs  in  our  communities,  all  offering  to  cater  to  different  issues  that  we  are  facing.

NGOs  are  a  midpoint  between  the  government,  the  private  sector,  and  the  people  on  the  ground.  They  are  very  crucial  in  the  development  that  the  government  seeks  to  achieve  but  can’t  see  through  due  to  a  lot  of  responsibilities.

The  work  of  NGOs  is  evident  in  our  communities,  it  brings  skill  to  the  people,  in  familiar  environments  eliminating  traveling  costs  that  the  people  particularly  the  youth  cannot  afford.
Social  intervention  programs  are  successful  in  that  they  are  provided  by  people  in  touch  with  reality,  directly  or  indirectly  affected,  some  even  with  lived  experiences,  which  makes  them  more  effective  therefore  they  should  be  encouraged  and  given  more  resources.
